24/02/07 - Vic Harry named as manager of the Hants 2004 League side
First team manager Vic Harry has been named as manger of the Hants 2004 League representative side in the National League Systems Cup. His first game in charge will be against the Dorset premier league in September.
24/02/07 - Firsts bounce back to beat Upham 3-1 at the Rec
The first team bounced back after last weeks defeat by beating Upham 3-1 at the Rec with Paul Raymont, Michael Heffernan and Andrew King the scorers.

17/02/07 - Firsts remember taste of defeat after Mottisfont win 5-1
After 3 straight victories, Mottisfont inflict defeat against Marks with Paul Raymont being Marks' scorer.
17/02/07 - OMS cancel game against Reserves AGAIN
OMS cancel the game for a second week running due to not being able to get a team together so Marks are awarded the points which technically seals promotion to Div 2!
15/02/07 - James Hammond makes the 50 mark
Congratulations to James Hammond who made his 50th club appearance against Lyndhurst on Saturday. His debut came against Frimley Select on 24th September 2005 in a 2-1 defeat. In his 50 appearances he has scored 8 goals.

10/02/07 - Firsts come back in last 5 minutes to beat Lyndhurst 5-3
At 3-2, it looked like Marks were going to be beat but King scored two more to seal his hat-trick and Mike Heffernan chipped in with one too.
08/02/07 - New league to be formed!
Following the Wessex League's decision to reduce the constitution of their competition from three Divisions to two Divisions, affected Clubs have unanimously agreed to form a new League with assistance from Hampshire FA.
Clubs who do not meet the Ground Grading criteria for the Wessex League have been given notice to find somewhere else to play and Hampshire FA have stepped into to help out with the full support of its Divisional Associations and Local Competitions.
The Hampshire FA is in the process of submitting an application to The FA for Step 7 Status and there is a further meeting of the clubs scheduled for Monday 5th February 2007. The meeting will form a Working Party consisting of Club Members to drive the competition forward..
Hampshire FA's Chief Executive Neil Cassar said "It is imperative that there is a Step 7 League in the County to safeguard the structure of football and provide a promotion ladder within the football pyramid for our Member Clubs. Hampshire FA is committed to ensuring that there is a clear pathway from grassroots football to the top echelons of the game and will be consulting with The FA further in this respect".
06/02/07 - Dynamo Aldershot FC withdraw from Div 3
Please note that College Town and Dynamo Aldershot (div 3) have withdrawn from the league. College Town had only played 9 of their scheduled 22 fixtures and Dynamo Aldershot only 11 of their 16 fixtures. As neither of these teams had completed 75% of their fixtures at the date of their withdrawal, then all points obtained by or recorded against these teams have been expunged from the league table in accordance with league rule 12(c), this in agreement with the league management committee at their meeting tonight.
The revised league tables have today been published on Yellow Jersey.
06/02/07 - Reserves - Eric Perrin Supplementary Plate draw available
The draw for the Eric Perrin Supplementary Plate competition has been made. The first round of this competition will be played in four groups of five teams, each team within each group playing each other twice (home and away) on a league basis. Please note that as these are group matches, there is no need for extra time or penalties to decide drawn games! The winner of each group will move forward to the semi-final round which will be played on a knockout basis.
There are currently only a few fixtures scheduled for February, most will be played during March and April. Note that there may also be a need for some fixtures to be played on a midweek evening as we move into April, although those will be kept to an absolute minimum.
The groups are as follows:
- Group A: Fleet Spurs "A", Wey Valley, Rising Sun, BOSC Res, Hindhead Athletic
- Group B: Wey Valley "A", Sandhurst Sports, AFC Froyle, Letef Select, OMS United
- Group C: Sandhurst Town "A", Yateley Green Res, Hindhead Athletic Res, Wey Valley Res, Headley United Res
- Group D: Crookham Krakatoa Res, Four Marks Res, Hale Rovers, Fleet Spurs Vet, Farnham Town Vineyard
03/02/07 - Firsts through to second round of Hanst League 2004 Cup
A hat-trick from Andrew King and goals from James Hammond (2), Michael Bridges & Andrew Ford ensured Marks won this 10 goal encounter.
03/02/07 - Reserves game against OMS United called off
OMS call off the game due a funeral. Game rescheduled for 17th February.
