30/09/06 - Reserves come from one down to beat OMS 4-1 away

After conceeding after 3 minutes, the reserves did not get back into the game until the end of the first half when John Chesterman slotted in after good work by Ingall-Tombs. Three second half goals against a tired OMS side ensured that the reserves got another 3 points on the board.

23/09/06 - First team hammer five past Over Wallop FC

The firsts won their first away game of the season in style by beating Over Wallop 5-1. Bridges, King (2) and Michael Heffernan (2) were the scorers.

23/09/06 - Reserves rue missed chances in 2-1 home defeat to Fleet Spurs Vets

The reserves were left wondering how they lost such a one sided second half at home to Fleet Spurs Vets. They had several chances to finish them off in the last 45 after pulling themselves back from a 1 nil deficit but didn't take them well enough.

17/09/06 - Vets start the season with a 2 nil away win against Mytchett

The vets got off to winning ways in the new season by beating Mytchett Athletic Vets 2 nil with Harrison and Bale the scorers. Match report available from the results page.

16/09/06 - Firsts back to winning ways by thrashing Ludgershall Sports

After back to back defeats, the first team came back with style by thrashing Ludgershall Sports 7-2. See the results page for the squad including scorers.

16/09/06 - Reserves beat B.O.S.C Reserves to move into joint first

The reserves remain unbeaten and top the table (well, 2nd on goal difference!) after their second win of the season. A tight game saw Alex Barclay get he winner in the last 10 minutes.

13/09/06 - Club subscriptions!

Reminder to all players who have not paid their club subscriptions they are now over due. If you are guilty of not paying please make arrangement to pay your manager ASAP. Congratulation must go out to the vets who have all paid up thank you.

13/09/06 - Complaint made regarding facilities at Aldershot Park

An official club complaint has been submitted to the league concerning the facilities at Aldershot Park for the reserve fixture against Dynamo Aldershot on 9th September.

13/09/06 - Vet home game with Holly Bush on 01/10/06 is off

09/09/06 - Reserves battle back to draw 3-3 against Dynamo Aldershot

The reserves make it unbeaten in 2 with a 3-3 draw against new Div 3 team Dynamo Aldershot. Alex Barclay contuned his fine form with brace making it 5 goals in 2 games.

09/09/06 - Durley beat the first team 3-0

The first team lost 3-0 to Durley to make it 2 consecutive losses. They will hope to get back to winning ways against Ludgershall Sports FC at the Rec this weekend.

02/09/06 - First's lose 3-0 away to Upham

The firsts lost 3-0 to Upham in their first away fixture of the season. Match report to follow on the Results page.

02/09/06 - Reserves start the season victourious with a 9 goal thriller

The Reserves didn't make it easy on themselves in this 5-4 victory. After going 0-2 down, they made a remarkeable comeback to be leading 4-2 by half time. The second half saw Rising Sun pull it back to 4-4 before Alex Barclay sealed the win with his 3rd goal of the game.

01/09/06 - Bookings - PLEASE READ!!

All players from all of our teams who get themselves booked or dismissed during a match will have to pay a fine to Hampshire FA.

Each fine received will be paid by the club, but it is the player’s responsibility to reimburse the club ASAP. This should be paid to each of the team’s respective manager’s the week following your caution at the latest.

The standard fine for a booking is an £8 administration fee. For a sending off offence there is an £8 administration fee plus £15 minimum fine on top make the minimum fine for a sending off £23. Please take note depending upon the severity off you offence your fine could be more. Failure to reimburse the club could result in a club suspension.

Any player wishing to make an appeal against the bookings should inform the club secretary ASAP.
