Four Marks 5 - 2 Lyndhurst Town

'Marks turned on the style against third placed Lyndhusrt and now replace them in that position.

'Marks took the lead in the eighth minute, Michael Heffernan firing in a Paul Raymont cross. In the 25th minute, James Hammond was brought down in the area and Michael Bridges stepped up to score from the spot, making the score 2-0. Heffernan made it 3-0 on the half hour mark, heading in a Bridges cross.

Lyndhurst pulled a goal back just before half time, 'Marks keeper Darren Bone failing to hold on to an overhead kick by the Lyndhurst forward. Four Marks went 4-1 up in the 50th minute. Drew King was pulled down in the area, Michael Bridges again stepping up to score his second penalty.

In the 83rd minute Lyndhurst got their second, Bone was beaten at the near post after some complacent defending.

With the score now at 4-2 but with three minutes to go, Andy Ford had a fierce shot handled on the line. He then took the penalty to make the final score 5-2.
